Simonehoeve Cheese & Clog Factory Tickets
Visit the Simonehoeve Cheese & Clog Factory
On the day of your visit, please head to the entrance of the Simonehoeve cheese factory to begin this unique traditional experience. Are you ready to immerse yourselves in the local culture?
You’ll start the tour with an unforgettable experience: a photo session in traditional Dutch attire. To ensure you’re comfortable and can enjoy it to the fullest, this activity is held privately with your own group. It’s the perfect opportunity to take home the best souvenir from your trip!
Next, you’ll move on to the tour of the cheese and clog factory. During the tour, you’ll witness live demonstrations where master artisans will show you how the famous Gouda and Edam cheeses are made. You’ll also see how traditional clogs are carved from a simple block of wood.
To end on a high note, you’ll enjoy a Dutch cheese tasting. You’ll be able to sample a wide variety of specialties, from goat cheese to smoked varieties to those flavored with aromatic herbs. Before you leave, you can visit the gift shop to purchase traditional artisanal products from the region.
The tour is estimated to last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
